Third Class explore building and coding with Lego Robotics Kits
There was great fun and excitement had, by both pupils and teachers, when we finally got round to using our Lego Spike kits! Thanks to generous funding from some local business and a grant received from IOP (Institute of Physics) we managed to purchase 5 Lego Cargo Connect Kits along with 5 Spike Essential kits in January. Unfortunately Covid safety measure meant we could not start working with them as soon as we would have liked. However, it was well worth waiting and when we began the boys were eager to engage as often as teache could possibly allow .
Since March other classes have joined in the fun of building and coding and currently there are a group of sixth class boys staying after school on Fridays to gain more experience as they prepare to take part in the Analog Robotics Day on the 18th of June. Best of luck to them!
