Following weeks of planning, negotiations and designing the pupils in each group presented their ideas to The Dragons, aka Mr. Liddane, Mrs. Tierney and Ms. Cantillon. Each group made an excellent presentation outlining how they had researched their product, conducted their market research and the amount of initial investment required. The Dragons were very impressed to see that recycling and environmental awareness was a factor in many of the proposed schemes.
After some deliberation The Dragons chose the Healthy Smoothie product.
So on Friday, the 5th of May, sixth class, with the help of their teacher Ms Ní Cheallaigh, had their action day with all boys working together to promote, create and dispense delicious smoothies.
The orders rolled in and so did they money. The pupils report that their health smoothie produced a healthy profit !
Well done to all involved and many thanks to everyone who supported the pupils by buying a smoothie especially the parents who came to sample the goods.
