We were privileged to have been dropped off some amazing Burren Pine trees yesterday by Dr Brendan Dunford of the Burrenbeo Trust. These are the original irish native pine trees that were thought to be extinct but rediscovered recently in the Burren in Co. Clare. We will soon plant these in our Choill Bheag/ school woodland.

Fourth class attended a very interesting talk today in the City Library - given by most renowned wildlife expert and author Êanna nï Lamhna . Her recently released book is entitled Wonders of the Wild . The boys enjoyed hearing about Irish wild animals , birds, spiders and many other species.👏👏
